true happiness

true happiness ( Buddhism) There is someone. Even when he goes to school, he feels that he needs a car. Wanted, but not. That's why it's sad. Every time he sees a car of the type he likes driving on the road, he's sad that I don't have it. Even if you go on a trip, your eyes go to cars. Sometimes I go to look at cars and miss one thing after another. There is always the sadness of saying no. He goes to work. Just the other day, he was thinking that he would save money and buy a car. Working very hard. Doing OT. Working on weekends too. He spends a lot of money to eat, drink, travel, and spend. I don't go to many things that are told to be happy to enjoy the comforts of society, because I want to save money. Finally buy a car. Need a car, now have it. So happy. But now, instead of sadness, fear is walking. No one is allowed to drive, they are afraid that something will happen. Children are not allowed to eat anything inside it, they are not allowed to put their legs ...

Happy and sad

 Happy and sad (Buddhism)

If you rub your body with sandpaper, it hurts and hurts. If rubbed with a flower petal, it is healthy and happy. There is no debate about this. The body directly feels pain and pleasure. This is the same for the poor, the same for the rich, the same for the arahant.

Where else do you feel sadness and happiness? Are there pleasures and sorrows in what the eyes see, what the ears hear, what the nose feels, what the tongue feels, and what the mind feels?

You see your friend coming down the street. You are happy, that means happy. Someone who is angry with you also sees the friend. His face is contorted, he is sad.

Your son dances to fast rhythm music. That's a big deal for you. It's good for the son, bad for you.

You go by bus. A smell of durian is coming. You really like that smell. Another man starts shouting. "Who carries durians on this bus? It's a nuisance. You smell, but we smell. This is a public transport service. Don't bother other people like this."

You are going to eat. There is an ambarella curry. Your friend loves it so much, you can't see. Giving Ambarella curry to a friend is happiness, and you are sad.

Someone says, "Oh, something happened to our country, isn't it? It's sad to think about it." The other person says, "There is no need to be sad about it. I am not sad, we are sad and it will be fixed." The same thing is sad for one person and not sad for another.

So, although what the body feels gives pain and pleasure, it cannot be said that there is pleasure in what is felt by the eye, ear, nose, tongue, and mind, nor can it be said that there is sorrow. They really have a pain of hopelessness that is neither sad nor happy. We create sorrow and happiness on it, it depends on the opinion we take, on the vision we hold.

You will say that it is sad if you say it bitterly. Have you seen people who love to eat gourds and green leaves? Small children who secretly eat paracetamol pills?

You say that excrement is smelly and the sight of a rotting dead body is sad. Small children do not turn up their noses at excrement, there is no displeasure even if they see a rotting dead body. why? He sees and feels like us. But still the view that they are bad and disgusting has not fallen.

There is happiness and sorrow only in what the body feels. We will take care of everything else. That is why the Arhat does not have those pleasures and sorrows.
